    The market is crumbling

Sorry for your woes. My diversified, value orietned portfolio is up nearly 10% year-to-date on top of nice gains last year. >>>>>

What good is a %10 return when your country is turning to 3rd world country? Because of corruption in government, wall street and corporations, big money is flowing out of this country, that means higher unemployment and less investment, more poverty etc.

    • Huh. Yeah, I guess we should go to some other country... there's no corruption over there, is there?

Geez, pal... all that's happening right now is that stuff that has always been there is more visible for a while. Once the government steps in and regulates everything to death... it will still be there. Just different. That's life.

My friend, countries go through different stages in their history. America definitely is in a irreversible decline. I feel myself lucky to hold another passport. Europe and China are the next superpowers. And yes, there are countries where corruption is punished severely. In China most of the crooks in wall street would be executed, and in Europe they would be jailed.
