Is to sell themselves. They are sitting on a Treasure of Patents
Now you can see Ben's "three year turn around plan" failed: still not able to generate positive cash flow, which is the whole point of running business.
An US based buyer can run the business to success.
Europe firms downgraded ALU last year, US firm just following now. Looks like they are forcing ALU to sell out as whole after Gensis deal closing.
CSCO's Chambers shown no vision for the past five years. Instead of buying ALU or NT, they bought whole bunch of junk companies without core technology and big telecom contracts. Hope JNPR will buy ALU and will put JNPR as a top player in both RAN and core networks. And their market cap is big enough to buy out ALU. One JNPR for two ALU should be a fair price.
With all this speculation why not Starbucks?
noway dunkin donuts.
tellabs and alu should merge, there's just to many companies in this fiel. They could get better prices from ATT.
We need to see the numbers before we can make this statement. Let's see what friday holds.
If you note.. every analyst made the ALU downgrade after a big Europe failure Headline.
Who will be the buyer? CSCO? JNPR?
