You sound jealous. Have you ever seen Paris, drank french wine, ate french cheese, visited the Riviera, ridden the TGV? These things are not accomplished by lazy people who don't work.
With all due respect, most Americans are planning their next fast food meal when they walk in the workplace; hence, the extra 30 pounds the majority lugs around. Furthermore, the American workplace is full of 'employees' who spend countless hours socializing, gossiping and other useless child's play. I'd say if the French work 3 days per week it's probably not much less than the 'work' Americans do. Being AT the workplace doesn't mean you're working.
BTW, I am an American so don't go on a xenophobic, ill- informed rant. Now I have to get my lazy american butt back to work. ...after I figure out where to go for lunch today. Maybe a nice french restaurant with a good burgundy will hit the spot. I should have been born in France!!
