    Time for employee revolt

    With this latest dividend announcement we see Paychex has plenty of cash. Time to start rewarding the employees. Is anyone on the board looking after the employee? They still, to this day, have not brought the 401k match back up to where it was since reinstating it after they cut it altogether some years back while at the same time freezing pay in the name of saving the business. When they do bring the match and raises back, do they make up for lost ground? No. Instead they raise the dividend rewarding the executives that get stock given to them therefor enriching themselves. Time to wake up and revolt. Especially operations employees that are being abused with the amount of work they are handling at this point. Employees time to leave! The company doesn't pay nearly what they should. The benefits used to be one of the reasons for staying. But now, forget it. It's all about shareholders so they say of course because that is how the executives are rewarded. Look at the 401k rankings on the internet. You'll see the match for a company this size is terrible. Employees are starting to leave even in this economy because this company has lost it's focus on why they had succeeded to begin with. Many more are ready to leave. Especially on the operations side. When you have senior operations employees leave even without another job lined up the board should be asking themselves why. Instead they turn a blind eye and think of more ways they can enrich themselves with more options or restricted stock grants. If this company refuses to acknowledge their operations employees, then it's time to leave. And that is what is starting and may be increasing soo. WAKE UP BOARD! WAKE UP!

      Hey Slappy, I don't think the board reads Yahoo message boards. Now that Obama has been reelected the job market will be bad for 4 more years, so you better take the abuse and hang on to what you have.

      • I have left them for what hopefully will be greener pastures. However, my overall point is that if you don't take care of the rank and file, they will leave in a heartbeat. Then where will the company be? Do you think the executives could do the job? Very doubtful. When those front line employees leave the company will be in the toilet big time. All because they decided to enrich themselves.

    • Company is getting way out of hand with what they expect their field staff to deal with. Way under paid for the demands and stress they put on the field. Bonuses are almost laughable. Time to leave and hope many go with me.
