    German-Chinese Cooperation

     

    China is going to build a high speed rail line connecting Beijing to Berlin and then to London.

    Berlin and Beijing have also announced joint programs in alternative energy development - combining the power of both scientific based states for a common goal.

    German companies have supplied China with much of the industrial technology and equipment they now use to dominate many basic industries.

    Sifang on the Chinese coast was an Imperial German industrial colony and the source of China's railroad and locomotive industry.

    Germany's elitist system of state subsidized education, and state encouraged promotion and opportunity based on merit, is not altogether different than China's. The Chinese are rapidly developing the ranks of their elite to match the elite of German nobility (princes, princesses, counts, countesses, barons etc...) who people the German government and industry, and parvenu elites elevated by the System.

    Japan latched onto the German way long ago. Japanese law is based on German civil law, with a few modifications introduced by the Americans after World War II. The Japanese Samurai understood German elitism perfekt. Big corporations, corporatism, and state dominated education, are key...
