Just curious - why does the market hate these guys so much.
I understand the numbers and the business.
Both are pretty damn good. I don't think anyone is arguing that.
But I am new to VELT and know there has to be something- so why is it that these guys are getting punished for creating and running a successful business. Divesting of an unprofitable business unit USUALLY is a good thing. So why is this company getting pounded.
Street has a dislike for foreign entrepreneurs not born and raised in the US. Greeks are not in vogue right now either. I wish the founder CEO appoints a new CEO and calls himself something like a Chief Visionary Officer and manage Development for an year.
CFO needs to clean DSOs up and post a couple of very strong quarters. Just meet expectations. The numbers are very good.
I am loaded with an avg share price shade over 5 bucks. Really good sector in tech and if only they managed their DSOs better they coudl have been north of 10 bucks this quarter. Just became a long term invetsor this week.
Their business decisions were warranted. They could have kept the investors posted. You don't lay a bomb shell like that at the end of the quarter and revising downward. The good news is that the management team own a lot of shares and are share based compensated.
exactly right but question is why so many are short? are people betting on a share offering, bankruptcy, fraud? these are not individual shorts but large funds betting against it. i can't figure it out.
