    VELT and the analyst community

It was nice to see someone say something nice about VELT today. It doesn't happen very often. When I Iisten to the shorts and skeptics talk about VELT, I'm reminded a bit about what the analyst community was saying about Jeff Bezos and AMZN about 10 years ago. Stuff like "Great growth potential, but the company has an unproven business model, and..the profitability just isn't there yet..."

With hyper growth companies, scale frequently seems a issue. VELT is one of one companies that has a global presence in mobile advertising. VELT's growth strategy has put some stress on VELT's balance sheet. However, IMO the gamble of growing before the compaetition does is worth the risk. VELT will be profitable in 2013, and there is no other company that has the infrastructure to compete with VELT with the world-wide scope that VELT enjoys.

Jeff Bezos used to joke that he set out to build a small profitable company, and wound up with a huge unprofitable company. Investors can laugh now, because AMZN wound up as a huge profitable company. I sense VELT will follow in AMZN's direction. The profits are coming.

    • I agree fully with you. I remember how Jeff Bezos was made fun of by CNBC folks and laughed at. If I was him I would have never shown my face again to those jerks but you are right how he is laughing at everyone now. I got burnt listening to CNBC and shorting AMZN at $38 (I covered at $55) but since then the stock has with many ups and downs gone to as high as $280. VELT will be $25+ someday without any doubt. I am not worried yes for now short sellers have a nice grip but could change any moment with just few good announcements from the management.

      Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • That is a great analogy and I see that exactly 10 years ago AMZN was almost to the penny 1/10th its current sp. I expect VELT can exceed 10X in the next decade, mainly because of its awful initial 2 years. I'll be first to predict sp of 80 in first qtr, 2023, double AMZN's results. VELT has a fairly good moat, referred to as "sticky clients" in a recent SA article, and I know from personal experience they are like a sack of diamonds in the long run.

      Sentiment: Strong Buy
