CFO Jeff Ross to present at ROTH conference on Monday 18th
Velti to Present at the 25th Annual ROTH Conference
Press Release: Velti – Mon, Mar 4, 2013 4:05 PM EST.
SAN FRANCISCO, March 4, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Velti (VELT), the leading global provider of mobile marketing and advertising technology, today announced that Jeff Ross, chief financial officer, will present at the 25th Annual ROTH Conference in Dana Point, Calif. on Monday, March 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. PT.
The stock price is disjointed from reality.
Velti does not need much cash to weather the storm- if they need any at all. It is pretty ridiculous how the shorts have been able to run this in the ground. In talking with a couple of the analysts they are more scorned they were wrong than anything. In their words Velti needs to be in the penalty box for a while.
When you compare the valuation metrics of Velti with most any other company it is bizarre how low low priced this stock is comparatively speaking.
Again - the money they may need - which Jeff Ross says they won't need, is not a big number and should be easily obtained. The fact is most other companies would throw the shareholder under the bus and grab all they could--------- this guy is different in a wonderful way - they won't allow Velti to take what they don't need. Velti does not want to sell shares at this crazy valuation level. If they do need cash look for a one off stop gap type financing arrangement to cover any short fall in Q 2.
Future is bright. Fiscal disciplinary measures and focus on high growth/high margin markets of China, India, Brazil, US and parts of Europe is now the areas where management will generate very lucrative business. Things will look lot different - lot better in future.
