Why would a "certain institutional accredited investors " give Velti 25M?
I know I am a very small investor with my 4K share and I do not understand the stock market as the big guys.
So I keep asking why " institutional accredited investors " just buy into Velti and give them 25M, sure they do not want to lose that kind of money.
They know all about the previous "bad" news that they reported on the last 2 calls and in the 20F doc.
Others like fidelity also did more buying into Velti and they are not in it to loose money.
All new partnerships, more deals that will generate cash and drive this stock up.
these "investors" were mostly shortsellers as you can see by the stock price movement going into the announcement. As soon as they were approached about taking part in a secondary offering they went short the stock driving the price down from $1.95 at the beginning of the week to $1.70 as of the close of yesterday's session. They were offered free money and of course they took it.
