So how will be the earnings in August?

    Good, bad, or ugly? Anyone?

    • 2nd quarter earnings will be bad by end of 2nd quarter cash balance will fall further. Roughly they are projecting about 10-12 million operating loss.

but question is can they collect more on their A/R in the 3rd quarter such that they have 10million positive cash flow. Also they are projecting revenue to increase sequentially to be EBITDA breakeven.
4th quarter they are projecting very good cash flow and posting a operating profit with very good revenues.

Let me tell you this they are walking a thin line here. If they don't hit their 3rd and 4th quarter projections they are dead in water. No amount of mobile pumping will do any good. They will have to sell the company for fire sale prices especially with 47million HSBC loan which needs to be paid.

      • Not true. Velti can dilute more to meet obligations if they have to; and they just laid off 20% of their workforce and will most likely move out of their san fran office into something more practical. When they first made their projections they didn't take into account those cost cutting measures so even a miss on revenue could bring in the same cash flow. 2 out of 3 of the top management are very experiences and competent (Alex "The Moron" Moukas is another story).

The pheonix will rise from the ashes in this story.

        Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • Probably beat on bottom line and lower on revenues. I think 2013 will probably be net profitable but with about 270M revenues. Three years from now (assuming Velti stays independent), revenue will be 700m+ judging by mobile advertising trends.

I give Velti a 90% chance of being bought though so it's a moot point.
