I WOULDN'T BET ON IT
Look at a chart of NKE vs S&P500 since 1987. The market has gone up 500% in those 23 years (~8% per year) and NKE has gone up 6000%, ie 12x better than the market in a very steady fashion at almost 20% per year.
There are VERY few stocks that can show that kind of slow and steady growth at that incredible rate.
