    nike everywhere(at least in usa)

    i just returned from a vacation at disney.
    it seems every other person had a nike cap, sweater, t-shirt, shoes, ect.
    as a stockholder, i too am concerned about the near term earnings
    announcements. BUT, doesnt the observation mean anything??/
    are we looking at current negative publicity(changeable)
    comparisons to big years(soon pass)
    asia(whats the word?)
    seems to me people are buying nike
    what do you think

      I see this stock as a good buy right now, but am weary because the past two pairs of Nike shoes that I have purchased fell apart very quickly and it seems that they are gaining a reputation for this.

        I have worn nike shoes for the past 8 years or so. I usually don't spend over $75. They last over a year for me wearing them almost every day. I had one pair of hiking boots that had a defect. Wrote them and got them exchanged w/ no problems. Love the shoes but not sure about the stock(near term).

        I sell Nike shoes, Nike shoes don't fall apart very quickly. For some reason if it does fall apart return it to the store you bought it from and they will gladly replace it. Most stores
        guarantee the shoes for one to two months. If the store refuses to give you a guarantee, most likely that store is not a certified Nike dealer. Nike compared to most other companies has done the best in guaranteeing the quality. And if you want to see a shoe that falls apart very quickly try Fila's.
