and for someone to say this is a poor company is narrow minded. We know Nike is not a Cisco or Merck nor Home Depot, but we do know that Nike is at the top of their class in the products they produce. They are a very strong company that has kept their valuation in step within the cycles their stock is a sector in. The earinings are there. The products are good values (not the best shoes or sneakers money can buy) , but damn good values. Next time you go out , take the Peter Lynch test and see how many people wear these products and find them equitable for their needs. THey are an on target, class act company that knows how to increase shareholder value and thus market cap. I'm with them for the haul...a great growth company for those with good knowledge of the market.
