Renaissance Tech and Dimensional Funds
there has been a significant purge of a whole host of low-float microcap stocks in the last 2-3 trading sessions w/daily declines of 10-15% in share price. Many of those stocks show either Renaissance Technologies or Dimensional Fund Advisors as a major holder.That is the common element across the broad band of such stocks that have been savagely sold off. Not sure who the seller is, but it appears to be a single entity causing most of the damage, and they are selling across a wide range of low float holdings.
