The new phone is going to have a front-facing camera that will be a game-changer: handheld video conferencing. While this has been possible for some time now, battery life issues have prevented widespread implementation. So they will need a new technology to conserve battery life while offering better performance.

Expect short covering simply on the off-hand chance that they're using PRAM to make this happen: ENER, APPL and Samsung.
