in the Times. Basically said it needs to be polished and works like a $200 Tablet and not a true IPad competitor. I'm sure they'll still sell around 7 million of them, but if people are expecting an Ipad they'll be pretty disappointed. Apple should make a no frills, low end version of the Ipad and squash the Kindle & Nook before they get a chance to improve. Yes margins would compress a bit, but if it's brings new members to the ecosystem you'll make up for it in Revenue.
Apple doesn't need to try and compete with bottom feeders. Love the way Amazon sells each one for at least a $10 loss, too. Apple is the king of branding and product - nobody can compete. Nobody. Remember folks, go out and buy your closest four an iPad for Christmas!!
