My wife's smartphone will be due within some months. So, they sent us an email to recommend a new phone. So, we had been there, the sales rep. told me it seemed popular. He is happy with some pre-order for iPhone 5. Some parents are using their kids' 4 or 4S, and let their kids use new iPhone 5.
My kids are not interested in doing that. If I buy new iPhone 5, they might want me to do that.
But, my wife are satisfied with a new Google phone. the sales rep told me it's 2 yrs. old model.
But, family members can call each other freely, and after 6 p.m. all free, too at C$ 20 plan.
( C$ 5.00 added if with caller ID. )
We are satisfied with that plan.
In Canada, iPhone 4 is free under the condition of 3yrs. contract of min. C$ 50.00 + 13% tax.
That's C$ 2,034 including tax in 3 years. I think that's too much for a palm-top. -.-;;
My kids' generation is called variously Generation Y, the Millennials, the Next Generation, the Net Generation, or the Echo Boomers. So, we allowed our kids to have their iPhone 4 & 4S, though.
I decided to stay with my kids' all the rest gadgets until the price would be decent for now. :)
Maybe a google phone like what my wife has would be fine for now.
Actually, with $ 20 plan it sounds more fair price to me.
