I'm long too, what concerns me is all of this talk about "squeezed margins in the future".
There seems to be a growing consensus among the Bears and few longs who have become bearish that once Apple has margin compression even though the company is still growing dollar wise this will hit the stock? This is my one major concern.. OR can the stock keep going up even if apple loses a little bit of margin? Anyone?
AAPL peaked and gradually declines the next 2 years and this is why: latest product mediocare,it's patents not as good as the competition, not enough cash spent on R&D (AAPL spends a third of what Nokia spends, they are hoarding cash instead),iPad mini will flop because smartphones are serving that need, why would I buy a mini when smartphones are getting faster, larger and can do all.smartphones will soon cut into the need of buying tablets, sold all 10k of my AAPL shares.AAPL is living on it's record in the past and loyal consumers are waking up to the reality that better products are out there.Samsung and Nokia with it's new Lumia product line will erode iPhone 5 sales and Microsoft new tablet will cut into iPad sales going forward.AAPL will see 300 more than it sees 10000.
I own iPad and iPhone 4. I'm switching to Nokia Lumia 920 next month.samsung S3 is a better phone and Nokia Lumia smartphones with better maps, powerful cameras and wireless charging and multiple cool colors are going to be the cool phones to own.on top of that, they are WP8 based phones and people can actually use them for work as they integrate with windows professional office and popular software.
