APPLE manages earnings very well!!!!
They released enough iPhones in Sept to make the numbers. The earnings for this past quarter will be great with only 5 million iPhones 5 sold, the real focus is on the next quarter!!!Sentiment: Strong Buy

I agree with FB in terms of CEO. However I do think Apple needs to bring a 'hip' younger spokesman, like in Apple vs MS commercials. Someone appealing, dynamic and who could do a rundown of all the greatest stuff and capabilities.I do admit I've never heard Tim Cook talking live, but from the photos, he carries too much of a static 'serious substitute' character image, in me eye at least. And, the relaxed jeans/shirt combo could use some tailoring for the rest of the oficers on stage. A couple of chicks in wet Retina tshirts would be alright.

It's not that Tim is a bad CEO he just does not understand marketing and it's important part in apples stock price. Jobs would be more in tune in making apple a more stable front runner, instead of a day trade it has become. Great company but Tim has become an CEO who refuses to hire a better front man with the ability to talk with fan fair about the products. Which might make him subject to getting booted. A smart CEO listens to the market and it's buyers. He has become stale and boring, which now is bleeding to apple mystique .

as soon as aapl reports a bonanza earnings with all the fanfare and beats, you will be the first to say how great aapl and cook are. this is psych 101. with most people, someone is only as good as their last effort. that is why you are who you are. you lack vision and patience. you see the superficial. this is not a criticism of you. this is the reality of the human beings and the american society..... fickle demanding bunch who want everything even though most don't lift a finger to get it going. everyone is good at telling others what to do, how to live their life and what to say. meanwhile his/her life is a disaster or at the very least needs an overhaul. we are all mire in mediocrity and can't appreciate others who try to elevate themselves. like the analysts, you can only give an opinion and dissect others' hard work. mr worker bee

on a whole new topic the stock is trading based on dropping/falling earnings... you wanna discuss stock trading then ok but don't equate what stock trading is doing to ousting a CEO for what you think is lack of performing duties that another CEO could have done better with the supply-chain public stock price guessing- 2 Replies to funniebucket
