The country is going down the drain. We almost had someone who could fix it, and now its going to get even worse. Rampant spending for social programs, more regulations, higher taxes, higher unemployment. He's a nice enough fellow but he's a socialist.
Hahaha... With the Clown List the idiots introduce for GOP lineup, I doubt that very much!
Who is gonna be the challenger? Paul Ryan, your cream of the crop who couldn't bull.sheit his way through this election?
Remember the 47%? Remember illegitimate rape? Remember Obama bankrupted Chrysler and exported jobs to China? Remember the dirty tactics of Carl Rove? Remember all that religious and political rhetoric, i.e., Obama is Godless, he is a Muslim, he is a communist?
Well, American people are not as stupid as you think thy are, are they now?
Keep watching Fox News!
because we are going to get to keep our mortgage deductions, child deductions, Health Care. Among other reasons. Sorry, next time nominate someone that can stick to one story. You'd think ya'll would have figured that out when you bashed John Kerry's flip-flops. I know, I know, you didn't exactly have a great field to pick from. Rick Perry? that guy that said "nine-nine-nine" and a guy that thinks evolution is fiction. It's hard to find someone that can represent 1% and capture with 47%. Why am I cheering? Because Bush destroyed this country and we didn't need another Bush.
Not sure you know exactly what socialism is. Obama is nowhere near a socialist. Also, Obama did not change the criteria for people receiving aid. We're in the middle of a frigging depression and more people qualify. And it was LACK of adequate regulations that let to the financial melt-down. And I won't shed any tears about the super-rich paying a bit more in taxes--they pay far less than historical rates. Romney revealed himself not knowing and not caring about the 47%, he mocked the idea of rising oceans, wants to balance the budget by cutting taxes, thinks Russia is our biggest enemy, stuck his foot in his mouth traveling around the world, flip-flopped on everything. He's a sellout and a hollow shell of a man that would have surely set us back.
The 47% were the unwavering Obama supporters, not EVERYONE in that class.
Jumping into Green Energy was/is a disaster.
$250,000 is NOT a super-rich.... and the rest of what you wrote are more lies.
Not sure I need a civics and poly sci lesson from someone so misguided and misinformed.
We are screwed as a nation and my paying more in taxes will not save you. One day soon you
will wake up in a country that is a shell of it's former self. Once a population can vote in it's own
entitlements the writing is on the wall. Dollar devaluation while adding to backbreaking debt and
rewarding the fiscally irresponsible will not solve our deep problems...quite the opposite. I'll
be fine....good luck to you!
kvhard, these idiots don't even know the true meaning of these words, they just regurgitate what Fox News and Rush Limbaugh tells them. First they said he is not an American, then they said he is Muslim, then they said he is a socialist and a communist, not knowing that a true Socialist and Communist do NOT believe in God, let alone any Religion!!
Republicans got what they deserved--run a campaign based on no substance, lies, name calling, innuendos, religion and political war mongering--then the same principals will come back to bite you in the A&&.
Would they ever learn? I don't think so-- and frankly, I hope they don't!
In the middle of a depression? I thought Obama campaigned on the idea that the economy was recovering. There is plenty of blame to go around for both parties re the financial crisis. It all started with Clinton's feel good idea of making home ownership possible for all. Banks actually had to follow quotas re giving loans. Suddenly everyone could qualify. And of course, banks understandably did not want to hold these mortgages that might not be repaid, and were a part of the bundling mortgages and passing them off to others. And good old Barney who believed nothing was wrong with Fannie Mae and opposed efforts to regulate more. Our leaders in both parties actively looked the other way as the ticking time bomb prepared to explode.
What worries me most is the segment of our society who believes the government is supposed to take care of them. This is passed on to future generations. I would love it if anyone has any stats, and I hope I'm wrong, but it appears to me there is a higher rate of irresponsible pregnancy (knowing they cannot afford to care for another child but having more children in the belief that the government would help). If this is true, it means the segment expecting to be cared for becomes larger and larger until we can't even print the money fast enough. No one will address this politcal hot potato, but we could offer longer term birth control and paid education so young impoverished women could acquire skills and education prior to having their families. This program could be offered to at risk young women of any race. This would allow them to have the potential to earn a decent wage, while also slowing down our population growth.
