All Best Buys Are Out Of Kindle Fire HD's In 7" and 8.9", Sold Out
Amazon claims to have "sold out" all of its old Kindle Fires (5 million) in 9 months. So, it is safe to say that they sold significantly less than this in the past 3 months. (Truth be told...most of these buyers would not have purchased an iPad anyways.) The Kindle is primarily for the eBook reader market and let's not forget that Amazon is not making any money on the sale of their Kindles. Let's call it like it is.....Kindles are junk tablets for poor / cheap people that can NOT afford to buy an iPad. Basically, the Kindle is the slumlord of the tablet world.
Overall, the Kindle will have very little impact on iPad sales since it caters to a completely different market.
Last quarter Amazon reported they have gained 22% of the Tablet market. At the same time, Wall Street said Apple had 95% of the same Tablet market. Who was telling the truth here?
The Kindle Fire HD is a whole new game for Amazon, supply will be their biggest problem, they could sell 20 Million in this quarter alone.
Amazon has never released sales numbers for any Kindle, That 22% figure sure surprised the market.
Absolute lie. Where do you get that figure? Amazon has not sold 20 million Kindles total let alone in a single quarter. The 22% figure you mention equates to 5-6 million per all experts. You have no credibility making irresponsible statements like these.
