Apple Inc. has won a patent that allows SIM cards to easily be swapped into a device like a smartphone or tablet, CNET reported.
The patent includes a method of swapping a SIM card by pushing on a plunger rod to eject the SIM card. The patent was first identified by Patently Apple. It covers multiple kinds of SIM cards, from the larger standard ones to the micro SIM cards that Apple uses in its mobile devices.
