From what we know Cook may had got the deal with China Mobile,
one of many reason we can think is he made China Mobile, sigh the confidentiality agreement (most of the time very hard to get Chinese people to sigh the confidentiality agreement without some kind of agreement like last 3 years they had been talk and Tim Cook said the company plans to set up an R&D center in Beijing, also relocate several servers to China “in order to improve the downloading speed for users in China an unnamed insider source and everybody knew Cook can't say without China Mobile "China is currently our second largest market. I believe it will become our first. I believe [strongly] that it will," ) because he doesn't like to see stock big pop up on the news and then shareholder getting hurt even more [earn?ing]

Cook did say China will become their "Biggest Market". Something is either close or in place.

Why would someone withhold good news when the stock was tanking? Wow, they actually have some servers . LOL

Apple's phones don't work on China Mobiles phone network. But maybe the new cheap iphone Is designed to. China Mobile new cheap iPhone designed to work on China Mobiles network. Could make sense.
