Analysts say buy when apple is at 700, they say sell when it is at 440. It coulnd't be more simple what you should be doing now.
If you haven't figured it out yet all financial articles these days are to get the public to buy when they need to sell or sell when they want to buy. That is basically what it comes down to. At this price you should be buying Apple and Nokia and selling RIMM.
RIMM is going to crash because bb10 is just not going to cut it even if it does very well. Apple was actually a sell probably at 600 and certainly 700 but now the valuations makes it a screaming buy. Nokia is also a screaming buy they have turned around dramatically as well.
Guess what he media is trying to tell you right now day after day?
Do the opposite of the above and you will do very well. Just an example Goldman, JP Morgan etc have all been dramatically increasing their shares in Nokia while keeping low price targets. They are round to make money not give it away so do what they do not what they say to do.
Good luck. Buying Apple or Nokia here you really can't go wrong. If you buy RIMM you might as well give your money away to charity.
The problem that many Mom and Pop AAPL shareholders have is they are overwieght in the stock already. It is really hard for a lot of people see the advantage of going in for more to lower their cost basis. If everyone would just take a deep breath, do the math, and buy, they would be doing themselves a favor.
Completely agree on Nokia I know every fundamental of Nokia stock.. Goldman Sachs does exactly as you say they bash stocks that they hold to buy more even cheaper and then upgrade.. I trade stocks that have been beaten down by analyst and media and wait..eventually they will return to what they are worth..in Nokia case slot higher upside than normal as they will overtake apple in handheld by 2014 but apple is working on some stuff behind the scened as is Google that is going to shake up the tech sector.. Nokia is too..secret insider stuff..but you would be a fool to sell apple Google or not buy Nokia that's all I'm sayin
