I totally agree with the idea of a dividend increase. Returning value to the share holder makes much more sense than tying up money in a share buyback, which is then basically doing nothing for anyone. Plus, institutions and fund mgrs will immediately take notice of a Div hike, which would bring them right back into the share pool. That's a win-win for everyone.
Should be. I would guess they will announce in March since that is the month they initially announced the dividend. My estimate is 15% based on them returning 45 billion over 3 years...well 10 of that is the buyback, 30 covers the current dividend so what else would the other 5 be for?
