When you buy a call, you're not buying the shares just the right to them...the MM to stay neutral, shorts 110 REAL SHARES to again, stay neutral. If someone shorts 110 real shares 31,000 times (number of calls b/t 455-465 this week) what do that do to the share price? Again, in Layman's terms...you buy a call, it's fantasy shares and to stay neutral, 100 REAL shares get shorted. price goes down, not up.
Weeklie started about four years ago and NO ONE has made a dime with calls on this stock. The drop to this level was solely from the number of calls purchased the day before earnings, there were 70,000 calls that would have been in the money if the stock went up 10 points..the drop to 460 wiped all of the out.
