My God, you expect this company's share price to rise forever. How old are you people? Apple makes commoditized electronics, that's it! What, you think the rest of the Sony's, Samsung's and Google's of the world are sitting on their laurels? Look around you, the whole industry has saturated the world with devices. The key word is saturation... when there aren't anymore people to continue buying into this onslaught of toys, it will crash. Apple is crashing along with it. If you think you've seen the lows for Apple in 2013, guess again. Wall St. [Institutions, hedge funds] are liquidating their massive share holdings of Apple as we speak; I would follow their suit before listening to the wind [whined] chimes of the suckers on this board.
Industry saturated? Apple product is commoditized electronics? Lol
How old are u?
Lets see 2007 ... Was there any less choice of cellphones in all size and price points. U world have said the same thing the... All commoditized electronics and saturated market.
Guess what happened in 2007....?.. If u dont know go check a bit of history!
Apple makes the highest tec. communication and computing devices...
The workd does change and technology moves forward.. Or u would be still connect to an operator to connect u to someone! At the time that was magic !
Or maybe u just cant imagine that in 5 years what u see today will look like funny old stuff!
You are missing the big strength of AAPL: they focus on Quality (with a capital "Q") in their products. Read "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" to get a clue. They have always done this. That is why the Apple Macintosh sold at a premium to Wintel PCs (and also why it is the platform of choice for publishers, artists, musicians, etc.). Now, it remains to be seen if this focus on Quality will continue to win in the marketplace ... I don't care about the long-term, I just want my quick 10% to 20% gain from the bounce then I'm out ;-)
fur ball, you're missing the point, the whole industry will pull back, quality doesn't mean diddly squat when everyone already has the device. And trust me, you better care about the long term waiting for that hypothetical bounce.
To aragre, I've owned [an] Apple shares and computers since 1985.
