Not true. Android now has to deal with BB10, its a reasonable competitor for those that do not want an ios device and are willing to save a few dollars to qet a lower rez camera and a reduced user experience. Apple still offers the best consumer experience when you include phone, camera, itunes, icloud and maps. I think its good news for Apple and think that it will not reduce Apples demand but may slow Androids growth a tad.
AAPL has always had Samsung to deal with. Nothing new there. RIIMM has no ecosystem, much like MSFT. Nothing to be worried about there. If MSFT can't make it work, RIMM has not chance. It's a two horse race.
Dismissing the competition with such a demeaning attiude will not help you really understand why Apple is going down. You sound like the GM executive in the late 1950's who replied to a question about what effect the import of the Volkswagen would have in the market was "How many did the import ? Oh we lost that many cars in transit last year"
If you think the Samsung SIIII and the Note II are copycats of iPhone 5 then you do not know the numerous advantageous distinctions that exist. That makes you ignorant and an investor that is ignorant will sooner than later be broke !
