not a chance, I hate to say it but I think we might have seen AAPL top out, they need some major catalysts to make another run in the stock, I am thinking any of these will work: stock split, larger dividend, put some of the cash to work, new products, take market share in more markets, etc. at the moment, AAPL is turning into a pretty good trading stock, nothing more, I do not see a short squeeze imminent, and this stock has become notorious for being manipulated because of weekly options. Best days to buy AAPL is late Friday and Mondays, volatility is then sucked out by week's end when options expire.
I'm learning about options... so when you sell a $450 call though, wouldn't you be called/ assigned the sell trade if the stock inceases from now to $450 ? Are you stating this.. just as a trade to profit anywhere from 400 - 450... but not so much as to if it increases more than that ?
Do a bit of everything
Buy the $1000 strike for jan 2015, also buy the 400-450 spread and one spread from 600-650.
You'll begin to understand the spreads when you see what the current cost of each spread might be.
