700,000 iMacs were not available for sale because of a supposed power shift going on at Apple. Business Insider is saying that Cook may have given Jony Ive and his design team too much power and that Cook was unable to balance ebbs and flows of supply chain because of it. They say that Jobs was a master at this, and that Cook may not be. If the 700K iMacs would have been available, Apple would have blown away the quarter. All the negativity would be gone and there would be no talk of value stock. Stock price would be headed back towards 700 level.
The problem is when you have 130 Bil in cash and 400 Bil in market cap, market expects them to sort all these issues. You don't find excuses. They always say demand exceeds but they never spend enough to bring it in balance.
