The market is in the overbought territory, the DOW is has high as it was in 2007 and i dont see an economy like 2007. I know i said i sold Apple and i said my concerns were mainly a market correction would take place and if the market starts dropping that Apple would go with it. I know most people who own Apple stock refuse to beleive that Apple will go down if the market goes down. I am not bashing Apple as i only have been long Apple, but if we are honest traders here to make money and that means making money off of Apple we all watch for signs in the market. But good luck to Apple longs if you continue to hold, just remember if the market does go down and Apple follows and you didnt get out and your down another 50 to 100 a share dont panic and sell at the lows ride it through and dont over extend yourself in buying more, good luck everyone
As long as the rates are near 0% the market will climb. People have been taking about a crash since 07. It won't happen. On the other hand aapl will drop further until they come up with an OMG producer. It could be 2015 or never
Not that it won't happen, but reports are always coming out saying the market is due for a sell off (or outright crash). The people who write these reports are looking for readers/buyers. No one buys a report that says "everything is fine, carry on"
The market at a high is not, in and of itself, a reason for it to correct. The real estate market kept going up for years, and each year people called the top.
The market has been driven by QE, take away QE do you really believe the market would have made it this high? Regarding the real estate market the number one factor that drove up home building wasnt indiviaul homes but building apartment buildings to house all those that lost homes. Builders saw that way in advance. Start showing large needs in single family dwellings then you can sale the real estate market is showing signs of recovery as people can buy home instaed of moving into a rental unit.
The biggest farce that is out right now is this "Great Rotation" nonsense. Assuming that current bond investors sell and buy stocks. Does someone think the bonds are going away after they are sold. Someone has to buy them and someone has to sell the stocks. The way this usually works is that the dumb money sells their bonds at the market top and buys stocks and mutual funds, and it is happening again. If this doesn't merk a top, I don't know what does......
