I believe it is more an issue of Tim Cook and the rest of the manqgement team not caring about their stock holders. If they did care about us they would make a real effort to clearly explain why they are sitting ou billions of dollars of cash with no discernable game plan. I know that mangement has millions of shares of Apple stock, however, in most cases this represnts stock option awards not money they have personnally invested. When you no not have real skin in the game it is easy to just let the stock fall (after all they will be ginen millions more in new options) Unlike myself, my sone and my daughter they simply are not a risk. Unfortunately I believe Apple's best days are behind it.
I've been writing for months here how Cook does not care about shareholders (or stock price). Zero concern of his and the board. I sold for this reason alone. This company will always be ultra cheap and about to get cheaper as growth fizzles fast
Sad to see just how mismanged the stock was. 3 months ago when the stock was falling and the bashing began he should have done big buyback, dividend boost and most important a year ago a 10 for 1 split to get everyone's obsession off the stock price in dollar terms. These guys have no idea how to manage a stock and that is fine because they could care less.
MUCH better places to invest your money. I owned it under 200. happy to get out in the 470's. Missed the top but I've never hit a bottom or top perfect. Great gain. Glad to know you apple. thanks steve jobs. No thanks to cook
