Why couldn't he be more positive about dividends ? outlays ? buybacks... no instead he has to be off the wall and talk about visiting apple store like its a shot of prozac....
he has no concept as to what the ultimate intent is... this is not about him its about sustaining the price of the stock.... optimism... what anaylysts want to hear !!!
this guy may be the worst CEO of all times. He is an arrogant #$%$ who views shareholders as a necessary evil. The performance of this company is pathetic. I dont want to hear how it went up unrealistically, the bottom line is it did and has fallen to unacceptable levels. They need an executive change and some board changes as well. The guy I am sure is brilliant but he is a horrible leader who cant play ball with the rest of the world
What bothers me as well is no one asks him the question all want to have answered.....What do you have to say to your faithful shareholders who have watched Apples stock price go from $705 to $430? How do You intend on getting the stock price to move North? What does 3 straight quarters of Misses....with a possible 4th on the way mean to you Mr. Cook? How do You plan to regain the faith of long shareholders? Why did You say Don't bet against Apple when Those That did scored major victories? Mr Cook....when will You actually say something of Worth?
I really don't think the clown cares! Cook and the Apple executives are rewarded with stock options you think they would be doing something when they have lost 30%. The clown will probably just calm the execs by offering more stock and diluting the value even more. The company is solid, I don't think anyone will argue with that their problem is they hate shareholders and just don't care which is why it will never reach $1000, if we can claw back to $600 (not holding my breath) I'm out. They make great products but couldn't care less about us and who wants to invest in a company who couldn't give a rats #$%$ about shareholders?
You guys got it all wrong. First of all, the stock is up 10% since he got the CEO seat. The stock was hyped all the way up to 700. Is it his fault the stock came back to real level? Of course, many cre tins are caught with their pants down, either buying to high or shorting to low, but it is not CEO's fault.
