Tech Crunch: Apple TV SDK will kill XBox, Playstation and WII
A couple days ago, Nat Brown, one of the founders of the Xbox team within Microsoft, took to his blog to absolutely destroy the current state of that product. His entire critique is worth the read, but one thing in particular stuck out to me:
Apple, if it chooses to do so, will simply kill Playstation, Wii-U and xBox by introducing an open 30%-cut app/game ecosystem for Apple-TV. I already make a lot of money on iOS – I will be the first to write apps for Apple-TV when I can, and I know I’ll make money.-
APPL TV or even Google/android entry spells big trouble for COMCAST and other bundled cable providers,....who doesn't hate paying for Jewelry sales channnels....who does COMCAST now own 100%....? CNBC

Well this is a good way to "pay Comcast / CNBC back", for all their constant bashing of Apple. Its about time the bundled Cable TV Monopoly was ended. The real ones charging way too much for their service are the wireline cable tv companies.

Peter Misek announced that Apple will hold a special event soon to announce Apple TV SDK. People don't seem to realize how huge this will be

This sounds like it could be great. Can someone else confirm what you're saying or add their input? I don't know enough about video-games, despite I met with Nolan Bushnel 30 years ago (the founder of Atari, and who Apple's Founder Wozniak and Jobs did some of their early work for, before founding Apple.
