Bloomberg: "The decision wasn’t related to iPhone 5 production"
Bloomberg News reports: "Foxconn halted recruitment until the end of March after more employees returned from the Chinese New Year break than a year earlier, Bruce Liu, a spokesman for the Taipei-based company, said today in a phone interview. The decision wasn’t related to iPhone 5 production, he said, refuting an earlier report in the Financial Times that linked the hiring freeze to a slowdown in orders for the handset. Carolyn Wu, an Apple spokeswoman in Beijing, didn’t respond to requests for comment. "
You're missing the point here. It isn't so much this specific thing that's going on today .... it's the bigger picture regarding FoxxConn, and their plans, and what this portends down the road for Apple, Amazon, and others who are so dependent on the Chinese to make their high-priced products. Apple needs to get OUT of that place, and NOW ...... before any MORE debacles happen. It started back in October last year with the strike and riots; it's only going to get worse with FoxxConn's automation plans, which will result in the laying off of tons of low-paid Chinese workers.
Think about it ..... the smart traders are already seeing this, and are responding ....
