as nice as it sounds Apple is not going to have just under 10 billion shares outstanding.
If they do double the divy ....or lets say make it $20 a year.....and bump the buyback by 5 bill a year.....that is like the Q 1 profit of 23 bill....Apple still adds to the 137billion cash hoard with 3Quarters of profit.....
A traditional 2 for 1 split.....with still under 2 billion in shares outstanding with the double divy n buyback bump would be fine
