this stock just keeps going down, every single day, like clockwork. The bank called today, and if it goes below $400, it is margin call time, and I and my family are completely wiped out. We will be living on Welfare and in a box. I don't know what to do, but damn I own a lot of guns. This better not go down anymore, I mean it, I will snap.
Our country's Pres. cares about Gays and especially WELFARE PEOPLE. The People he rips off and dishonestly claims he's for are the Middle Class. The Middle Class are the enemy of the Washington Elitists, who only care about welfare parasites and wierdos. When Obumbler said he was going to cut Entltlements in the news today, he meant REDUCE SOCIAL SECURITY CHECKS for people who paid into the System for 40 years. His and Sharpton's people, who mostly only take from USA, however, he continues their Free Cell Phones and continues to give them $5000 bonus checks from the IRs so-called Earned Income Tax Credit, despite few of his people pay income taxes.
Even this person...full of it. A bank calling you to give you advance notice of a margin call. My brokerage calls when it happens, then gives me three days to cover. Why do people lie online?
Learn from your mistake, don't put everything in one basket. Buy a high dividend stock. You have enter the largest casino in the world the NASDAQ and NYSE. There is no such thing as easy money.
You sound rational about it. I'll give you an idea of how to handle it if you still believe in APPLE long-term (as Time Cook said people should). First there may well be more excitement about Apple mid-year when alot of articles say Apple will be introducing new Smartphones. (right now Samsung and Blackberry have intro'd new phones). So the thing to do is buy Call Options on Apple Stock for this Fall. Buy "in the money calls" and you won't pay that high a premium above the current market price of the stock... and yet you'll need a lot less capital to own the potential appreciation, than from owning the shares outrighe. Options are risky though--- its taking a chance.
I am sorry if you actually bought at 675 but I know that no bank will call you with a notice of margin call over 5% away. That comment of yours puts your credibility at issue. I've had margin calls before and no one issues them before the day they get set up.
