Apple Inc. Message Board

Steve put his entire life and heart into building Apple, America's icon brand. Apple was right up there with the Dallas Cowboy franchise of the 70s and 90s. Right up there with Cheverolet in the 60s and 70s. Instead of focussing on what has taken you from a niche computer maker in the 80s to the hottest brand in 2009, Apple is looking to knock off cheap wristwatches. For the thin teen and college student demographic/market, this is a cutesy gadget to impress your friends with at Friday night binge drinking parties, but for the monster baby boomer demographic/market, this is Apple's self-inflicted knife to the heart. APPLE IS DESTROYING ITSELF BY GETTING AWAY FROM IT'S FOUNDATION OF BUILDING THE FINEST SMART PHONES AND INTERNET DEVICES KNOWN TO MANKIND. To devert from this phylosophy will only set Apple even further back from Samsung and a dozen stronger Chinese smart phone and gadget powerhouses, with laber costs 1/3 that of Apple, USA. The wristwatch will no doubt be made in China or the Phillipeans. Still, the lack of investion here other than a cutesy internet surfing bracelett, is a historic low before the product even comes to market.

      • YOU SAID IT BEST!!! Have you walked into an Apple store recently? If so, have you noticed how the store foot traffic is declining dramatically? And, have you looked at the product displays? Some are falling apart on tables and others are of old product models? The one glaring eye soar is the products themselves...Have you noticed the quality of Apple's product outer cases are becoming flimsy plastic junk? They're trying to make their product ligh weight but they are forgetting that it's the sturdiness and solid feel in customer's hands that turned them onto Apple products in the first place. STEVE UNDERSTOOD WHAT QUALITY LOOKED AND FEELED LIKE, TIM COOK IS A GAY PLASTIC GUY, SELLING PLASTIC NOT TECHNOLOGY. MARK MY WORDS HERE, IF THIS CONTINUES, APPLE'S STOCK "WILL GO TO $20/SHARE AGAIN. GUARRANTEED!!!!
