ICAHN just announced that DELL can do a $9 "special dividend" to stockholders by a "leveraged recapitalization. He even says he will lend Dell billions of his own money to do it. Dell makes $3.3 billion/yr. cash-flow and has 1.7 billion shares outstanding. Apple makes $56.7 billion cash-flow and has 0.94 billion shares. Do the math, Apple could therefore do a $250 per share "special dividend", when you adjust for over 17X as much cash-flow and half as many shares for Apple. This is in addition to the $140 per share cash Apple has. So actualy Apple could pay out almost $400 per share in a Special Dividend to its stockholders. EINHORN SHOULD LEAD A HOSTILE TAKEOVER.
He's not sure what the event will be about but he's sure they are going to announce a date next week. Should drive the stock back up considerably short term. Could be a split? Could be one of the new products, could be the China deal. Been buying all week and will buy again today! This is a no brainer buy at this level. All the pros know that too. Buy low and sell high my friends!
