Is TC sitting in his office all alone crying at his desk? Maybe the board members are there, too, and nobody has anything good to offer. Just pure silence.
I am beginning to believe that Apple looks at shareholders as a necessary nuisance. They are not concerned with what we think. We should just be happy they allow us invest in their company.
Good to believe it because it is true. Actions speak louder than words. In Tim's case both words and actions show they don't care. What do you do? Sell and put your money in a stock that is shareholder friendly or has growth.
I sold during the conference call when Cook said no more dividend, buyback or split. Put cash into google which has made up a chunk of what I would have got had I dumped apple at the top. I missed this next 60 points of downside on apple. Put money into some telecom and tobacco stocks which have huge yields and have also appreciated nicely in share price since. Plenty of places where the board and CEO's do care.
Don't fall in love with any stock. I held apple for 5 years. Reluctantly sold during that conference call when I realized the truth. Cook and co were not "waiting" to announce anything big in terms of shareholder rewards nor products. I sold. Now I must pay the IRS a ton of money.
Lol.....you're wrong!! its his job!!! this long term horseshiiaet is a jolke for you fools to wrap your arms around!! its a common excuse for failing ceo's..........dont worry about all my recent failures and target misses, we're focused on the long term.,,,,,,,,,,bwhahaha...ya, right scooter!!! fk u timberrr!!!
As I see it that was Cooks old task, at his new job I think he needs to relate to the people who hold an interest in the company., as he should for employees of the company needing it to be profitable for both . I sent an email to apple investor relations maybe that will straighten them out.
You are wrong, this is a publicly traded company owned by the shareholders. He must answere to the owners of this garbage. But with fools and scoundrals like al gore on the bod, none of this is surprising...................See you at 100
