You are right on both counts. When Siri came out as a beta I said to myself, Steve would have never done this. Something not right here. Also iPhone 4S was supposed to be iPhone 5 remember? Then Siri was supposed to be next big thing but was next big flop. I was just using iTunes the other day. What a mess. What a mess iTunes store is also. Its so cluttered and claustrophobic. iTunes is bloated slow and not intuitive. The problem is they need designers to tell the programmers what to do. The programmers are on ego trips and its like "look what I made" instead of focusing on ease of use and functionality. Now in contrast go over to web based Amazon and you have a clean interface. The music and video stores are easy to look at and easy to navigate. Plus prices are great. You cant beat Prime deal either. I dunno. Apple truly has lost what they once had. Its a shame.

      • it is a shame, because they had great stuff. but its inevitable. companies get big, and it happens. the only reason apple was a standout for so long was because of the genius of steve jobs and the fact that he ran the company like it was his own house. you don't see that very often. its over. people have to just realize that apple is JUST ANOTHER COMPANY now. just another smartphone choice, a laptop choice, and a tablet choice. that's all they are. prior to Cook, apple products were not choices, they were no-brainers.
