Good point. i was thinking about the same thing. Media was afraid of Jobs and his temper, he would not have tolerated CNBC constant bashing if he was still alive. Cook has a passive personality and he doesnt fight back. This the problem with Cook and his team!!.
Cook thinks AAPl is too good to respond to rumors and has no patience by responding to BS.
He really needs to change his ways because AAPl will be the target of WS and media manipulation for ever if he doesn't.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
How about the Apple Board and CEO who promotes the sell off through deep silence and hold on key announcements? What will it cost apple if stock is split today or next year? Announcement made today or next year? How about CEO buying shares with his personal money?
Last quarter Apple made 1 billion per week. It isn't what Apple is doing... it's what the media has done to them through sloppy and prejudiced reporting. The slanted and incomplete Foxcon story yesterday is emblematic of how far that network will go to bash this stock. Their thesis has been consistently negative since Jobs died. that event provided them with a palpable 'trigger' to take this stock down.
The media in general has run away from Apple and ignores the fundamental story. In fact, they hold one of its greatest aspects, 140 billion in cash, against them. This is the biggest miss by the financial media in my investment lifetime.
