It could well be that serious bids are coming back at this level, and the market maker is just revisiting lower levels to meet those bids; I really feel that this has been occurring over the past few weeks as serious buyers are putting in their low bids to get back into the stock - remember the adage - buy low! I think we are indeed in a price range that is very attractive to big buyers - after all, isn't that what a bottom is all about? Capitulation also means smart buying!
It was news release stating new iPhone will have same size and form factor as old iPhone. Also cheap iPhone coming out. Market was expecting new iPhone w bigger screen. Market does not think new iPhone will sell if its same size and form factor.
I guess that is possible, but doesn't seem probable. I thought it would close closer to 440 today based on the impulse leg this morning. I went outside to water my garden. I wasn't even away 30 minutes and bam it had lost almost all its gains when I looked at it again. The options premiums weren't moving much at all with the price rise this morning and then with the selloff they started cratering. I don't know exactly what to make of it.
Broken company. Their best thing they can give us right now is an earlier iphone launch which isn't until Summer! It may get delayed, it m,ay have problems like maps??? In the mean time big funds are dropping aapl its all over the news and its been steady. There just isn't the buying support anymore. Funds used to look for dips and buy more, now they are selling on rises and not buying on dips. AAPL is really scarey right now to own. My advice, sell and wait for mid summer to assess and see if its even worth buying then.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
Look at the valuation of AAPL and consider buying. Al bad news (actually no news) has been factored in. We have a valuation of PE of 8 and this is way below wher aAPPL should be... I say buy between 400 and 430 and accummulate to 460. The stock will see over 500 territory soon. I agree with your comments if we had a PE of 15 ....
