one good sign, though, has been the accelerated volume the last couple of days. That can signal a near-term capitulative event. We have to wait for the last of the dead wood to burn off, which will take some more time. In the meantime, there WILL be "pop" days ...... but nothing sustainable. The general consensus is that earnings next week will be flat to down, and the following qtr will be worse. Once the new slew of products begins to hit the market, that will be the beginning of a new cycle.
