They are leaving Apple in record numbers but they are little guys so you don't hear it from CNBC. Wait for Johnny Ivy to leave and he will soon. You will see headlines in big red letters all day and all week.

AAPL - In my opinion, AAPL is still a good company. The stock price has been falling because financial institutions have been raising unrealistic expectations. On the other hand, they try to beaten it down now for another round of accumulation. That is how financial institutions make money.
They have a TON of employees.
A. Where are they going to go?
B. Some are going to startups.
C. Many have unvested options they won't get that are still in the money and worth ALOT.
D. Money isn't everything.
E. The stock is probably going back up after earnings (even though probably not over $500).
F. When they get new stock options with their annual reveiw they will be priced lower so any move up they make money.
I love when a short inadvertently makes an argument for going long. Too funny.
Why do they stay? Excellent question. It's because they, unlike you, know what they are working on. Think about it, these are the cream of the crop who can work anywhere and they choose to work at Apple. It is because they believe in Apple's future.
Who said they are not leaving? VC's are saying they see record number of apple employees coming to them looking to join their startups. They are leaving. Also Apple is unable to attract top talent as now they have to pay huge bonus and cash salary to get people since prospective employees see stock options as worthless. They only want cash now
