Such low volume and all the big players, the ones that really decide the price are not even in the ball game after hours. That is why after hours is prone to manipulation. What they will not be able to manipulate is the new $50 billion bank roll from apple that will be buying apple. $500 by end of month, count on it. After hours today mean nothing.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
If it means anything to anyone....
On April 23, 2008, AAPL declined 0.5% in after-hours trade after topping Q2 expectations but offering mixed guidance. The stock rebounded to end the April 24 regular session up 3.7%.
History may repeat itself tomorrow --- Not sure about 3% up... maybe 1-2 % up for sure .
$500 by the end of the month? Pfffft....wishful thinking, sport.
FYI...what means nothing is stock buybacks. Buybacks are nothing but a gimmick.....and that's straight out of Jim Cramer's mouth......and all the "big players" as you say, know that as well.
That's why this stock is down after hours.
I wouldn't say a total non event, but quite a coincidence. What both Apple and NFLX have going for them they went way up AH on unusually significantly high volume. Sometimes this holds up for trading the next day. In Apple case, the pps was brought back down on small volume (wreaking of manipulation), making after hours meaning less today, IMHO. Though the strong upward volume probably signals where we are going.
AH price is pretty strong ... I guessed - $ 30 ~ - 50 though. Average people might think billion dollar is still big money. Addional $ 85 bil. every month, they still think it's a chunk of change. It's just some billions.
When do we see them start print some trillions a month ?
Only slaves seems to work nowadays.
Hate to break it to you, but such weakness after hours is very telling. I've seen it before. To go from $430 back to flat is a strong signal. AH volume so far has been over 6 million shares. You call that nothing? That's almost a third of daily volume! Hardly just a few pikers. We'll see what happens tomorrow, but I wouldn't be surprised at all to see it ultimately (by end of day) sell off. Either way, I see new lows for AAPL within a month.
