Understanding The Market From An 18 Year Old Investors Prospective
Yeah-yeah, what's an 18 year old know about the market, right? I know what my friends buy and what products they wait for. Guess what they buy if they can afford them? When there's blood in the streets and not one good thing to say about a company in the media. It's time to buy! Hoping for support at $431, as that's where I got in this morning. Big investment, 24 shares @ $431.26.....
Sold SIRI, Netflix, And GOOG. Don't bother responding! Just let this post fade. I'll be back @$500 plus
BTW: Don't give a thought to the posters on here that don't understand this company and the business model. Much less how to invest. Or understand the transition Apple is going through from a growth company to a value company. Or the period of consolidation, which should be over shortly.
She sold SIRI-NFLX and GOOG this morning and bought AAPL. All three were up big when she pulled the trigger. Looks like she has a grip on the market from the positions she sold. We've all paid our dues on here. Some more than others. We all have the right to be wrong. Hold that short and see where we end up. It would appear you lack the overview to understand the valuation of AAPL.
Your greatest lesson needs to be learned. Humility ! Risk and reward is great when it all works out. But no one is good enough to always be right. You will learn, maybe from this buy of AAPL, or something else.
In the case of Apple you are in the forest but can only see trees. Your thought that you have insight may have some merit but than you don't have overview.
You are more likely to see $400 and NEVER see $500. GL
you're as right as can be.... long term hold; if you have options trading prevelges, may want to sell Covered 'mini-calls' when we reach 500... would NOT advise playing naked options!! Collect dividents, and maybe collect some premiums from selling calls... sure bet!!!
