I watch this board, not for stock advice but entertainment It is hilarious how one such poster keeps saying all call buyers will never win because they short every time someone buys. If that is the truth than explain to me why I made so much money on calls two weeks ago on the run from 390 to 422?
The funniest part of THIS board is the clowns that claim they shorted 10,000 or even 1,000,000 shares of AAPL. They believe we do not know the account requirements and the asset requirements to short $4,300,000 in stock or even $430,000,000!
No one that can actually short a half a billion dollars in stock would post here, much less post "ggggggggggggggggg" as a comment.
I agree this is the funnies of all the boards I visit for entertainment.
I agree. There may be times when the market maker buys or shorts shares to hedge, but the amount of capital required would be enormous to do it on a regular basis. The Market Makers are not the only ones selling puts and calls.
