AAPL should have moved up 20% on the Icahn buy news. Icahn isn't big enough to overcome the multitudes of share holders that will sell when AAPL reaches their price. A close below $500 today will validate my opinion.
Good luck to all AAPL investors
AAPL still not look like a stock going to $700

Happy investing and trading to all,
You obviously are not familiar with how liquidity plays into price movement. If Icahn says I am taking a large stake in Netflix or Nuance or HerbalLife, the price is going to move large because there are less shares to be purchased and a lot of them are sold short . If he tells the world that he is buying IBM, not so much. A million dollars doesn't buy as many shares of Apple as most other stocks.
this is just a very stupid statement. The market was terrible and we were up nearly 2%, $500 is a minor speed bump and it will probably close above it later this week, we will be at 535-550 in a month when the announcement of the new iphone comes out, thats about 10% more, enjoy the ride and dont let bitter shorts shake you out!
How did I know some idiot would post about Apple closing under $500..............by looking at the chart you would understand that there is no reason this stock will not continue to climb and within a years time find that mark..........hell it might even happen in the next 6 to 8 months.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
