It's as if they have no PR machine, no marketing other than ads. They have no presence in the social media or anywhere meaningful. They got bashed for 6 months and just stood there taking it. Do they really feel investors like uncertainty around their products or deals? Why can't they be more transparent? What an idiotic way to be.
they continue the 'secret' mode left in place by jobs......such a strategy is okay, if you're technology is leading, but now that the competition has caught up to aapl, it's probably time to modify their strategy to bring it current.
BTW, Mac Pro is an exception. That is because the product release is dependent on Intel and not Apple. Apple can not ship the new Mac Pro, until Intel ships Xeon E5 V2 with Thunderbolt. So we are awaiting Intel. And that is what Apple said. I am going to be in line at the store to buy it the first day it comes out. I for $10,000 allotted to it.
That was one strict order Steve Jobs gave before he died. He always adhered to it. You will find out about stuff when they are for sale at stores and on line. Never before. Look at Logic Pro X, which I bought the day it came out. But the way you found out about it was from Apple site, when it was available for sale. Not one minute before.
